Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi n'Tichka Pass - Agdz - Zagora - M'hamid - Erg Lihoudi dunes.
Begin your 2-day Marrakech Sahara desert tour to M’hamid with a scenic drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, reaching 2,260 meters and enjoying breathtaking views along the way. The journey continues through the Draa Valley, crossing the historic Tizi n’Tnifift Pass at 1,710 meters, once the caravan route for traders traveling from Timbuktu. Along the route, you’ll have the chance to explore the region’s largest palm groves and stop at the historic village of Tamegroute to visit its underground kasbah and the renowned Koranic library. Your adventure concludes in M’hamid, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional Berber camp with nomad-style tents amidst the stunning Erg Lihoudi sand dunes.
Day 2: Erg Lihoudi dunes - Zagora - Agdz - Ait ben haddou- Marrakech.
Awake early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, followed by a typical breakfast in the bivouac. Take a camel ride back to our 4WD vehicle in Mhamid where we will drive back through the Draa valley towards Agdz, discovering the hidden treasures of the Southern region. The journey continues to ait benhaddou village, the fortified Ksar with its beautiful Kasbahs. We will visit it and having our lunch in one of local restaurant. In the afternoon,we drive back to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and reach the red city around 06:00 PM.
